Job Title: General Maintenance Technician
Summary: Troubleshoot and complete routine repairs, general maintenance, and preventative maintenance on building systems and equipment as assigned.
Review of applications will begin immediately. The anticipated start date for this position is June 1, 2025.
This position works in-person from our campus in University Heights, Ohio. 40 hours per week as assigned. Department’s core hours range from 7:00 am – 6:30 pm. This position will require work performed outside of normal business hours and weekends based on campus needs and participation in an on-call schedule.
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in office and job site settings; to stand, sit, or walk for prolonged periods of time; to frequently stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate amounts of weight up to 50 lbs.; able to climb ladders; to operate tools and equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination; to travel to other campus locations and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
Starting salary will be $17.50 – $22.00 / hour, commensurate with qualifications.
