Job summary

CA Lawton in De Pere, WI is seeking General Maintenance Technicians for our foundry to ensure machine reliability and smooth production.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and repair electrical infrastructure using drawings and blueprints. Expect involvement in continuous improvement and prioritizing tasks to maximize equipment uptime on cranes, sand mixers, conveyors, and related gear.

Qualifications

• Must hold a technical certificate/degree in Electromechanical or Industrial Maintenance with at least 2 years of troubleshooting experience across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Strong understanding of preventative maintenance procedures and associated documentation.
• Ability to read drawings/blueprints and communicate across departments and with vendors/contractors.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on foundry equipment.
• Troubleshoot problems as they arise and lead long-term improvement projects.
• Maintain and repair electrical infrastructure using drawings and blueprints.
• Participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Respond to requests from the Facilities Manager and Maintenance Supervisor to maximize equipment runtime.
• Troubleshoot and ensure uptime on overhead cranes, sand mixers, conveyors, and other foundry equipment.

What are the hours and pay?

• Looking for 1st, 2nd and 3rd shift
• Regular Pay $30.00-$40.00/HR
• Pay is based on experience
• $2.00/hour shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shifts.

What is the job?

• You will be completing preventative maintenance on a variety of equipment within the Foundry.
• You will troubleshoot problems as they arise throughout the workday and complete long-term projects throughout the organization.
• You will maintain and repair existing electrical infrastructure using drawings and blueprints.
• You will participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Operate in response to requests from the Facilities Manager and/or Maintenance Supervisor and set priorities as required to maximize equipment runtime.
• In this position, you will troubleshoot and ensure machine uptime on overhead cranes, sand mixers, conveyors and other foundry equipment.
