Job description

This position is responsible for operating, maintaining, and performing repairs on assigned HVAC and Refrigeration equipment and controls, chilled water systems, boilers, and various other mechanical, electrical, and building systems to ensure optimal client relations.

Essential Functions

  1. Ability to troubleshoot, calibrate, and adjust pilots, thermostats, burners, transformers, controls, relays, heaters, elements, switches, and controls on electrical systems.
  2. Ability to use trade tools such as multimeters, refrigerant gauges, charging charts, and hand tools.

Responsibilities

  1. Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
  2. Identify maintenance risks on equipment.
  3. Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in HVAC systems.
  4. Perform locksmith duties, including key cutting and programming trilogy locks.
  5. Clean, adjust, and repair systems; perform warranty services.
  6. Perform emergency repairs promptly and efficiently.
  7. Provide technical direction and on-the-job training.
  8. Keep daily logs and records of maintenance activities.
  9. Ensure compliance with appliance standards and Occupational Health and Safety Act.
  10. Adhere to service standards, work instructions, and customer requirements.
  11. Assist with customer queries.
  12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  1. High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
