The General Maintenance Technician is responsible for general maintenance and upkeep of facilities, including minor plumbing, electrical, carpentry, drywall, and painting repairs.

Qualifications

Education & Certifications: Graduation from an accredited trade school in a related field and/or 5 years of experience with demonstrated knowledge in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and drywall repair. Must be 18 or older, able to lift 75 lbs, and possess a valid Texas Driver's License.

Experience & Background: High energy, positive attitude, flexibility, teamwork, attention to detail, and initiative are essential. Ability to lead programs, manage budgets, develop and market programs, and foster community relationships. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
