Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance or carpentry/construction experience preferred.
• Must be a US Citizen with an Active Secret Clearance or ability to obtain one.

TRISTAR is seeking a General Maintenance Technician for our government customer in Crane, IN

• The General Maintenance Technician requires practical skill and knowledge in facility maintenance such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, masonry, and electrical work.
• Work involves a variety of duties to include but not limited to: replacing light bulbs, electrical receptacles, wires, switches, fixtures, and motors; using plaster or compound to patch minor holes and cracks in walls and ceilings; repairing or replacing sinks, water coolers, and toilets; painting structures and equipment; repairing or replacing concrete floors, steps and sidewalks; replacing damaged paneling and floor tiles; replacing damaged or discolored ceiling tiles; hanging doors and installing door locks; replacing broken window panes; fastening equipment or structures to concrete flooring; and performing general maintenance on equipment and machinery.
