Basic Qualifications
  • High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
  • At least 3 years of maintenance technician experience.
  • Legal authorization to work in the United States; verification required at hire. Visa sponsorship is not available.
  • Access to export-controlled items; employment conditioned upon lawful access.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years maintenance experience with PLC systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, and electrical repair.
  • Formal PLC training or extensive hands-on experience.
  • Experience in ultra-high vacuum systems is an asset.
  • Experience with man lifts (scissor and boom) and forklifts is an asset.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and basic math.
  • Understanding of precision measuring instruments, electrical/electronic testing devices, drawings, schematics, manuals, and instructions.
  • Basic computer skills; advanced skills are desirable.
Job Summary

Responsible for daily maintenance, installation, dismantling, troubleshooting, and repair of mechanical or electrical equipment.

Essential Functions
  • Perform preventive and predictive maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment effectiveness and facility system efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, robotic, combustion, electrical, and electronic equipment issues.
  • Install, assemble, rebuild, and repair equipment; support facility infrastructure.
  • Inspect, operate, and test machinery and equipment.
  • Participate in projects, planning, and liaise with suppliers; lead contracting activities; utilize Computer Maintenance Management System.
  • Identify, specify, and use spare and replacement parts.
  • Support training, EHS, Human Performance, and departmental objectives.
  • Availability for shift, weekend, holiday, and emergency work is required.
