Job summary

JLL in Greenwood, SC is seeking a General Maintenance Technician to support operations at our facilities team. This entry-level role offers growth opportunities as you help maintain production equipment and ensure reliable operation of conveyors, labelers, and printers.

You will work with experienced technicians, perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot issues, interpret blueprints, and uphold safety standards. Candidates should have a high school diploma and be able to lift up to 49 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience with conveyors, case sealers, labelers, and printers.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including day shift (Mon-Fri, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM), weekends, and holidays.
• Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds, perform repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and standing/walking throughout shift.
• Ability to work in varying conditions including small spaces, dust, fumes, temperature fluctuations, noise, and concrete floors.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, case sealers, labelers, and printers to ensure continuous production operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems and Material Handling Equipment to minimize downtime.
• Manage work orders efficiently and coordinate with specialized support teams as needed.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics for equipment maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements.
• Implement and enforce safety standards for all Material Handling Equipment in accordance with OEM requirements.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift.
