Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL) in Greenwood, SC is hiring a General Maintenance Technician to support our facilities team. This entry-level role offers growth opportunities as you help maintain equipment reliability and a safe production environment at our SC site.

You will learn and perform maintenance tasks on conveyors and automated systems, work with CMMS, and collaborate with experienced technicians to meet production goals while ensuring a clean, compliant facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of maintenance experience with conveyors, case sealers, labelers, and printers.
• Ability to work flexible schedules including day shift (Monday - Friday, 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM), weekends, and holidays
• Physical capability to lift up to 49 pounds, perform repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, and standing/walking throughout shift
• Ability to work in varying conditions including small spaces, dust, fumes, temperature fluctuations, noise, and concrete floors
• Manual dexterity for eye/hand coordination, foot pedals, and precision tasks (picking, pinching, holding, grasping)

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot conveyors, case sealers, labelers, and printers to ensure continuous production operations.
• Perform preventative maintenance on automated systems and Material Handling Equipment to minimize downtime.
• Manage work orders efficiently and coordinate with specialized support teams as needed.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics for equipment maintenance, repairs, and facility improvements.
• Implement and enforce safety standards for all Material Handling Equipment in accordance with OEM requirements.
• Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and adapt to changing priorities throughout the shift.
• Utilize various tools and equipment while working in diverse facility conditions to maintain operational excellence.
