Job summary

Saint Xavier University in Chicago is seeking a general maintenance worker to support campus building operations and related services across all university facilities. You will perform routine repairs in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, tiles, painting and equipment, following university standards.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on HVAC and general infrastructure, assisting with demolition and renovation work, and responding promptly to emergencies in coordination with campus

Qualifications

• 3-5 years' experience in general maintenance and repair work.
• Valid driver's license and insured personal vehicle and tools to use on the job.
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, including the ability to respond professionally to all campus users and external constituents.

Tues, Wed, Thurs 7:30am-4:00pm, Sunday and Monday 9:30am-6:00pm.
