Hyatt Regency New Orleans is seeking a General Maintenance Engineer to join our Engineering team. You will perform maintenance, repair, and upkeep of guest rooms, public spaces, and meeting rooms, ensuring smooth operations across the property.

The ideal candidate has a broad maintenance background with experience in electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and carpentry, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to exceptional guest service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

Qualifications

• Technical Experience in related field or trade (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC/Refrigeration, Paint & Wallcovering).
• Follow safety and security policies and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Two years of previous hotel experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Maintain guest rooms, public spaces, and meeting rooms throughout the hotel.
• Perform preventative maintenance, respond to guest service calls, and troubleshoot building-related issues.
• Complete repairs across a variety of trades to support day-to-day hotel operations.
