FedCity NOLA is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to perform routine and preventive maintenance across guest rooms, public areas, and back‑of‑house spaces at our New Orleans hotel. You will troubleshoot HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical issues while ensuring safety practices and quality repairs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Technical or vocational training in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, or related trades is preferred.
• Experience in hotel, resort, or commercial building maintenance is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of building systems and maintenance procedures is required.
• Experience with hand tools and power tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
• Troubleshoot and repair minor HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issues.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests from guests and hotel staff.
• Complete work orders, PM tasks, and repair logs in the work order system.
• Assist with painting, carpentry, caulking, and other cosmetic repairs.
• Inspect guest rooms for proper functionality of lights, outlets, AC units, fixtures, and appliances.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the engineering shop and mechanical areas.
