Job summary

Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort and Spa is seeking a General Maintenance to join our engineering team. The role focuses on performing repairs, preventative maintenance, and timely response to service requests to keep guest areas and facilities in excellent condition.

Qualified candidates will have at least one year of building maintenance experience, hotel experience preferred, and the physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong problem-solving and teamwork are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• A minimum of one year building maintenance experience and hotel experience preferred.
• Good customer skills are also required.
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs.
• Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure facilities and equipment remain in good working condition.
• Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and emergency situations.
• Inspect resort areas regularly and report safety hazards or maintenance needs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment.
• Follow all Hyatt brand standards, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.
• Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, and other departments.
