Job summary

Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in New Mexico seeks a General Maintenance professional to ensure quality facilities and guest comfort. You will perform repairs, routine upkeep, and respond to service requests, collaborating with Housekeeping and other teams to maintain safety and elegance across the property.

Ideal candidates have at least one year in hotel maintenance, strong problem-solving skills, physical stamina, and flexible availability including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year building maintenance experience in a hotel setting.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repairs.

Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa is seeking for a General Maintenance to join our engineering team.

General Maintenance responsibilities:

Perform general maintenance and repairs .

Conduct preventative maintenance to ensure facilities and equipment remain in good working condition.

Respond promptly to maintenance service requests and emergency situations.

Inspect resort areas regularly and report safety hazards or maintenance needs.

Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance areas and equipment.

Follow all Hyatt brand standards, safety procedures, and OSHA regulations.

Work collaboratively with Housekeeping, and other departments.

• A minimum of one year building maintenance experience and hotel experience preferred.
• Good customer skills are also required.
• Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible availability, including weekends, holidays, and evenings.
