Boise Cascade Company is seeking a General Line Product Manager to purchase, price, and market a wide range of general line products for warehouse and customer sales. The role develops sales strategies, new products, and promotions while maintaining inventory, margins, and pricing.

You will present to dealers and builders, work with location managers on promotions, and ensure safety and continuous improvement in operations.

Qualifications

• Basic qualifications include a college degree or equivalent work experience.
• Preferred qualifications include effective communication skills and proficiency with computer software applications.
• Typically more than seven years in building products industry or general line sales.

Responsibilities

• Purchase, price, and market a group of general line products for warehouse and customer sales.
• Develop and implement sales strategies, promotions, and new products.
• Maintain inventory levels, turnover, and margins to maximize branch profitability.
• Present to dealers, builders, and meetings; coordinate with location managers on promotions.
• Assist operations in warehousing and maintain supplier relationships.
