Job summary

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. seeks a Pre-Suit focused Attorney in our Richmond office. You will handle pre-litigation work, draft and file pre-litigation documents, and guide clients through the early case process while overseeing a team of Case Managers.

Requirements include a law degree from an accredited school, active VA Bar membership, and 1+ years of general liability or personal injury experience, with strong writing and leadership skills toward successful outcomes.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day handling of allpre-litigation work
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval
• Guide clients through the case process
• Drafting and filing of pre-litigation documents
• Complete TD approval for liability issues
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
• Manage the release approval process
• Manage a team of 6-10 Case Managers
• Focus on general liability cases
• Drive compliance and KPIs amongst team
• EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• An active member in good standing with the VA State Bar Association
• 1+ years of general liability or personal injury experience
• Ability to manage high volume of pre-lit cases
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills
