Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited law school is required.
• Active New York State Bar admission in good standing is required.
• Experience with pre-litigation and general liability or personal injury preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all pre-litigation work day-to-day.
• Complete the Flip-to-Lit approval.
• Guide clients through the case process.
• Draft and file pre-litigation documents.
• Oversee liability approval processes.
• Oversee settlement negotiations and demand packages.
• Manage release approval processes.
• Supervise a team of 6–10 Case Managers.
• Focus on general liability cases.
• Drive compliance and KPIs within the team.
• Handle EUOs, PIP Statements, and recorded statements.

Morgan & Morgan, P.A. is seeking a lawyer to serve as a Pre‑Suit focused Attorney in our office in Seaport, New York.

Responsibilities

• Day‑to‑day handling of all pre‑litigation work
• Complete the Flip‑to‑Lit approval
• Guide clients through the case process
• Drafting and filing of pre‑litigation documents
• Complete TD approval for liability issues
• Oversee settlement negotiations and the formation of demand packages
• Manage the release approval process
• Manage a team of 6‑10 Case Managers
• Focus on general liability cases
• Drive compliance and KPIs among the team
• EUOs, PIP Statements, recorded statements

Requirements

• Law degree from a fully accredited law school
• Active member in good standing with the New York State Bar Association
• 1+ years of general liability or personal injury experience
• Ability to manage high volume of pre‑lit cases
• Excellent client service and communication skills
• Strong leadership skills
• Superior writing and oral advocacy skills

Salary Range: $100,000 – $125,000 USD.
