Job summary

Klinedinst PC in San Diego is seeking a Practice Assistant to support the General Liability Practice Group. You will help ensure efficient daily operation, assist attorneys and clients, and contribute to a fast-paced, client-focused environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of related experience, an Associate’s degree or equivalent, and proficiency with MS Office and legal technology. You will manage calendars, prepare documents, filings, and maintain organized matter files.

Qualifications

• Candidates should have at least 3–5 years of related experience and an Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Experience supporting attorneys and clients in a fast-paced law firm environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and legal technology is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist with materials, forms, budgets, reports, and charts for major clients.
• Prepare expense reimbursements and provide calendar management and meeting coordination for attorneys.
• Maintain attorney calendars, deadlines, and reminders for client and court obligations.
• Open, maintain, and close client and matter files per firm procedures.
• Prepare, edit, format, and organize legal documents using firm templates and style guidelines.
• Assist with electronic filings in state and federal courts and other tribunals as needed.
