BCG Attorney Search seeks a General Liability Associate Attorney in Birmingham, Alabama. The ideal candidate will handle a variety of defense litigation matters, including drafting pleadings and motions, and managing cases from start to finish.

Strong written and oral communication skills and experience in court appearances are required. This is a hybrid role offering professional development and deep exposure to complex cases within a nationally recognized firm.

Qualifications

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Admitted to practice in Alabama.
• 2+ years of defense litigation experience.
• Experience with general liability, premises, transportation, or insurance litigation preferred.
• Experience drafting discovery and pretrial motions required.

Responsibilities

• Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, legal memoranda, and other legal documents.
• Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues across departments and offices.
• Independently manage a litigation caseload from beginning to end.
• Communicate with clients and provide status reports.
