Job summary

Cole, Scott & Kissane seeks a driven attorney to join our General Liability practice in Florida. You will take and defend depositions, draft dispositive motions, and participate in hearings, mediations, and trials while performing legal research and advising clients.

A Florida Bar license is required, with strong communication and problem-solving skills. We offer a full benefits package, 401(k) with employer matching, generous PTO, and a revenue-based bonus structure.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior litigation experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law.
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence.
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients.
