Job summary

Cole, Scott & Kissane seeks a driven attorney to join our General Liability practice group in Florida. The attorney will defend businesses and individuals in premises and products liability, and various tort matters, handling depositions, motions, hearings, mediations, and trials.

The role requires Florida Bar licensure, strong communication, and solid litigation fundamentals. The position offers a competitive compensation package and a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed member of the Florida Bar.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior litigation experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Perform legal research and analyze case law.
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence.
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients.
