Job summary

Cole, Scott & Kissane seeks a driven attorney to join our General Liability practice group in Florida. Our team defends businesses and individuals in a wide range of tort matters, from premises liability to products liability, with a strong focus on trial readiness and client advocacy.

Responsibilities include taking and defending depositions, drafting dispositive motions, attending hearings and trials, performing legal research, and preparing pleadings and correspondence while communicating

Qualifications

• Must be licensed to practice law in Florida.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior litigation experience preferred, but not required.

• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials
• Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel
• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients

• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
• Problem-solving skills
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
