Job summary

Cole, Scott & Kissane seeks a driven, hard-working attorney to join our General Liability practice group in West Palm Beach, FL. We defend businesses and individuals in premises liability, products liability, and other tort matters.

Requirements include being a licensed Florida Bar member with excellent verbal and written communication, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Litigation experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed Florida Bar member.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Prior litigation experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take and defend depositions.
• Draft and argue dispositive motions.
• Attend hearings, mediations, and trials.
• Perform legal research and provide analysis of case law.
• Prepare pleadings and correspondence.
• Communicate with clients, expert witnesses, and opposing counsel.
• Provide exemplary legal counsel to clients.
