Position Overview

The General Ledger Application Analyst supports OCHIN's mission through complex configurations of front desk and revenue cycle applications within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) system. This role collaborates with members and staff to provide solutions ensuring accurate, secure, and efficient workflows, focusing on quality financial outcomes for our member clinics.

Essential Duties

• Monitor project progress, resolve issues, publish reports, and recommend actions.
• Prepare technical reports by analyzing data and trends; conduct ad hoc analyses for operational issues.
• Participate in Epic G/L system implementation.
• Manage multiple Epic-related implementation projects.
• Research and configure new payor/plan financial mappings.
• Complete Prelude GL configurations and builds.
• Update Bridges tables and Interface X12 Message Processor.
• Configure batch jobs for payor and self-pay queries.
• Create and update Rules, Extensions, and Action Lists for workflows and records.
• Document build specifications, processes, and workflows.
• QA standard builds, quarterly updates, and work orders.
• Collaborate on integration issues with other teams.
• Meet with clinic leads to review financial processes and system builds for new installations.
• Participate in weekly financial analyst meetings for updates and tracking.
• Resolve GL issues during and after Go-Live.
• Develop workflow best practices.
• Build, test, and document new GL features.
• Support clinic staff during Go-Lives and rehearsals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
