Job summary

See’s Candies is seeking a detail‑oriented accounting professional to manage general ledger activities and cash transactions. You will assist with month‑end and year‑end closings, perform reconciliations, and support variance analysis to ensure accurate financial reporting.

You will collaborate with Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and other finance teams to uphold internal controls and provide reliable data for management and auditors.

Qualifications

• Experience with general ledger processes and month-end close.
• Cash/banking transaction reconciliation and reporting.
• Supporting internal and external audits and internal control adherence.
• Collaborating with AP/AR and other finance teams to ensure accurate reporting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain General Ledger records and classify daily transactions.
• Reconcile cash and banking balances across entities.
• Assist in month-end and year-end closing with journal entries and accruals.
• Prepare schedules for internal/external audits and support inquiries.
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.
