Job summary

Ghirardelli Chocolate Company is seeking a Corporate Accountant to support the Corporate Accounting Manager with general ledger accounting, month-end close, and accurate financial reporting. You will maintain GL integrity, perform reconciliations, and assist with processes to improve efficiency and controls.

The role requires 3–5 years of accounting experience, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with SAP and Concur.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related discipline.
• 3–5 years of accounting experience (general ledger, reconciliations, and financial close).
• Advanced Excel skills with PivotTables, lookups and data analysis.
• Experience with SAP and Concur preferred; strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the Corporate Accounting Manager in general ledger accounting and close cycles.
• Prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting analyses.
• Process Concur expense reports and related entries; manage high-volume accruals.
• Perform cash reconciliations and review tax activity for compliance.
• Assist with intercompany analyses and group reporting as needed.
• Provide cross-functional support and participate in process improvements.
