Requirements include a high school diploma or GED; completion of an apprenticeship or related experience/training. Basic math, geometry, volume, and weight evaluation skills are necessary. Good verbal communication and teamwork skills are essential. Ability to read safety instructions, recognize hand signals for cranes and equipment, and follow safety regulations is required.
Activities include climbing, lifting (up to 100 pounds), balancing, walking, stooping, handling materials, and wearing safety equipment. Vision abilities include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Exposure to weather extremes, moving mechanical parts, heights, fumes, airborne particles, vibration, and loud environments.
