What You'll Do:

• Promote Safety. In accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards, take an active role in prioritizing safety for yourself and others throughout the operation at all times.
• Perform General Physical Activities. Assist with various tasks including using hand tools, cleaning, washing, sweeping, and shoveling materials.
• Repair and Maintain Equipment. Support servicing, repairing, and adjusting plant equipment.
• Inspect Equipment and Structures. Conduct daily inspections and maintenance to ensure safe and reliable operations.
• Operate Vehicles and Equipment. Use heavy construction equipment or similar loaders to assist plant operations.
• Additional Responsibilities. Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills You’ll Need:

• Experience. Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry is preferred.
• Knowledge of Best Practices. Familiarity with principles of industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production is preferred.
• Flexibility. Ability to work overtime, extended hours, outdoors in all weather conditions, and tolerate loud noises.
• Mechanical Skills. Some knowledge of industrial tools, their uses, and maintenance.
