Barnhill Contracting Company is seeking a general laborer to support asphalt paving and grading crews. This role involves performing unskilled tasks, handling basic tools, and serving as the designated spotter when trained. Candidates should be prepared for long hours and outdoor conditions.

Formación

• One year of experience preferred; on-the-job training provided.
• Encourage a valid NC Driver's License.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks.
• Ability to follow precise safety rules and maintain attendance.
• Ability to work weekends and some nights.

Responsabilidades

• Performs unskilled tasks on asphalt paving and grading operations, including shoveling asphalt, stone or dirt.
• Uses tools such as a shovel, rake, lute, broom, pick, hammer, saw, pneumatic hammer, drill, tamp and concrete saw.
• May operate a farm type tractor with power broom attachment.
• Perform duties of the designated spotter of which training will be conducted.
