Barnhill Contracting Company is seeking a general labor team member for asphalt paving and grading crews in North Carolina. The position involves supporting operations, handling materials, and maintaining safety protocols.

Ideal candidates have a year of experience or willingness to train, are able to lift up to 100 pounds, and can work long shifts with varying hours. This on-site role offers comprehensive benefits and growth within the Barnhill family.

• One year experience but will train the right person.
• Able to follow safety rules and policies.
• Willingness to learn multiple tasks.

Responsabilités

• Performs unskilled tasks associated with asphalt paving/grading operations, including shoveling asphalt, stone or dirt.
• Uses tools such as shovel, rake, lute, broom, hammer, saw, drill and other equipment.
• May operate a farm type tractor with power broom attachment.
• Performs duties of the designated spotter; training will be provided.
