Job description

Richland Laminated Columns LLC is a manufacturer of post-frame foundation columns located in Greenwich, OH. In addition to serving as a Perma-Column precaster, Richland is also a manufacturer of nail laminated columns, green post columns, and glulam columns. Richland offers a “Total Post Solution” to its customers, including a full assortment of columns combined with Footing Pad.

The General Laborer position is an active member of a production team that will assist in the manufacturing and/or assembly of building components to ensure daily production needs are being met.

Openings are available on night shift.

Hours:

Night - 7pm to 5am / Monday through Thursday (includes shift differential)

Some overtime available as business needs dictate

Essential Functions

• Learn and apply the Richland Laminated Columns safety and operating procedures, methods, and standards to daily production
• Operates plant manufacturing equipment as required
• Read, interpret, and follow production work orders and/or engineering prints
• Work in a safe, fast-paced, and changing environment
• Utilize a powered lift-truck to move material to desired location
• Ensure quality and/or shipping accuracy standards are being met
• Other duties as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• A minimum of 1-year experience working in a production, maintenance, manufacturing or related capacity is highly desired
• Prior experience operating a powered lift-truck
• Starting pay at $18-$22 per hour, with opportunities for overtime
• Production based monthly bonus plan
