Job summary

Hamilton by Gunnebo in Milford, Ohio, is seeking a General Laborer to support fabrication operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You will perform secondary operations after laser cutting to meet final specifications, including drilling and sizing holes, tapping threads, deburring edges, countersinking for fasteners, and installing studs or hardware.

This first-shift role (Monday–Thursday) pays $19 to $22 per hour, depending on experience, with overtime based on business needs.

Qualifications

• Experience in a factory/manufacturing facility preferred.
• Mechanical knowledge or experience with hand and power tools is desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Must pass background check and drug screen; Marijuana testing required.

Responsibilities

• Ensure output and product meet quality standards and report issues.
• Support fabrication operations via proper setup of materials.
• Maintain clean, safe work area for efficiency and safety.
• Inspect equipment and report mechanical issues promptly.
• Participate in 5S and Kaizen activities.
• Follow PPE and safety protocols at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We are seeking a General Laborer to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, supporting fabrication operations. Performs secondary operations following laser cutting to meet final specifications. Responsibilities include drilling and sizing holes, tapping threads, deburring edges, countersinking for fastener fit, and installing studs or hardware. Ensures parts meet print requirements, quality standards, and are ready for assembly.The ideal candidate will be proactive, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to our production goals.

The pay range for this role if $19 to $22 per hour and is based on experience; this is a first shift role Monday through Thursday with overtime based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure output and product meet quality standards and report any issues to the Supervisor and Quality Manager
• Support fabrication operations by preparing raw materials and ensuring proper setup
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area to promote safety and efficiency
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any mechanical issues promptly
• Participate and support 5S activities and Kaizen events.
• Follow safety protocols at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Other duties as assigned

• Previous factory or manufacturing facility experience preferred
• Mechanical knowledge or experience working with hand tools and power tools is highly desirable
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
• Basic understanding of manufacturing processes and safety standards
• Excellent attendance
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen. Due to the nature of our industry we test for Marijuana and applicants must test negative.
