Job summary

Hamilton by Gunnebo is seeking a General Laborer for our Welding department on 1st shift, 6:00am to 4:30pm. Join a global security solutions leader and help produce high-quality components supporting our safety products.

You will collaborate with the Production team on progress, prep products for finishing applications, and perform related duties. The role requires reliability, safety awareness, and the ability to stand and lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing experience.
• Mechanical aptitude or related experience.
• Experience using hand tools.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive hand movements.
• Self-motivated with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with the Production team on progress, questions, and concerns.
• Prepare product and ensure finishing applications are performed.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
• Excellent attendance required.

What You Will Do

• Communicating with the Production team on job progress / questions / concerns.
• Prep product; ensuring finishing applications are performed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Excellent Attendance required.

• 1-year experience in a manufacturing environment
• Mechanical experience or aptitude.
• Experience with hand tools.
• Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds.
• Ability to perform most work while standing at floor level.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements with hands.
