Job summary

Pilgrim’s is seeking a supervisor to oversee hatchery operations, including egg pickup, inventory, and egg breakout, ensuring cost efficiency and high-quality chick production for broiler grow-out.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, two years in a processing/manufacturing setting, and proven supervisory experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is expected, with a focus on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a processing or manufacturing environment.
• Must have knowledge of hatchery of baby chicks.
• Previous supervisory experience a must.
• Self-motivated and detail oriented.
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Ability to recognize and advise when unsafe conditions are observed.
• Computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite Programs (Outlook, Word, Excel).

This position will work with breeder servicemen and will supervise and monitor hatchery production, egg pickup, inventory, and egg breakout at the lowest possible cost. The position will be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties:

2. Hire and train personnel.
3. Monitor safety rules and regulations.
4. Set schedule.
5. Observe all Bio-Security programs.

8. Other duties as assigned.
