Job summary

Pick-n-Pull Auto and Truck Dismantlers is seeking a General Laborer I to support the production team in an outdoor auto salvage yard. You will handle vehicles safely, dismantle engines, drain fluids, and prepare parts for customers while upholding company safety standards and environmental requirements.

The role involves working in varying weather conditions, weekends or peak sale days, and requires good physical stamina for lifting up to 50 pounds and standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• This role requires following safety messages, labels, and hazard communications.
• Able to work hours including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions during full shifts.

Responsibilities

• Work safely and promote a safety culture in the yard.
• Position vehicles and prepare parts for customers in a safe manner.
• Remove fluids and components per prescribed procedures.
• Dismantle engines and transmissions and harvest core materials.
• Operate tire equipment and sort tires for shipment.
• Assist customers professionally and maintain cleanliness and logs.
