Job summary

Pick-n-Pull Auto and Truck Dismantlers is seeking a General Laborer I to join its outdoor auto salvage yard team. You will handle vehicles safely, assist customers, and help produce core and scrap products while complying with environmental and safety requirements.

Qualifications

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Willingness to work weekends/holidays as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Work safely, wear PPE, promote safety culture and collaborate with safety buddy.
• Follow company policies and procedures with professionalism.
• Safely remove fluids and batteries according to procedures.
• Extract gasoline, coolant, waste oil and other fluids per procedures.
• Position vehicles for safe customer access and prepare area for next set.
• Dismantle engines/transmissions and harvest core materials.
• Operate tire machine and sort tires for shipment.
• Assist customers courteously and prepare boxes/pallets for shipment.
• Complete regulatory logs and inspect equipment as needed.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
