Job Location: Portland, OR

Starting Rate of Pay: $18.00

$500 Sign-on Bonus
+ $1.50 shift differential

Available Shifts and Hours:

2:30pm-3am Monday - Thursday
10:30am-11pm Monday-Thursday
6:30pm-7am Monday - Thursday
10:30pm-11am Sunday - Wednesday

Job Responsibilities:

• Learns to identify mechanical problems with the finish saw and collaborates with maintenance resources.
• Understands how to find the product cut length and the acceptable verification points such as shift change, stoppages, new dies/orders, first cut, and last cut.
• Knows where to find cut tolerance information for each customer/order to ensure adherence to specifications.
• Maintains proper saw blade coolant, oil levels, and correct fluids for effective cutting.
• Assists in emptying the saw chip collector at the end of each shift or as needed; contacts forklift driver when dumpsters are full.
• Handles materials carefully to prevent damage such as scratches or dents during transition.
• Operates manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely specific to the role.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Basic command of English for understanding and communication.
• Ability to accurately read measurements in feet and inches using a tape measure.
• Excellent punctuality and attendance.
• Interpersonal skills: team player, organized, self-starter, adaptable, results-oriented, able to work with limited supervision.
• Previous experience in a heavy industrial, fast-paced environment is preferred.
