Qualifications

Job description

Job Location: Portland, OR

Starting Rate of Pay: $18.00

$500 Sign-on Bonus

+$1.50 shift differential

Shifts Available and Hours:

7am-3:30pm
3:30pm-12am

Job Responsibilities:
  • Measures and sets up splines to prepare for aluminum.
  • Moves carts of aluminum from staging area to spline.
  • Lift aluminum extrusions up to 27’ long and weighing from 10 to 100 pounds between two employees from the transport rack to the spline.
  • Use air-powered wrenches to bolt each piece of aluminum to the spline.
  • Work in pairs and at the direction of the floor lead.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Ability to understand and deliver basic commands in English.
  • Ability to accurately read a tape measure.
  • Excellent punctuality and attendance record.
  • Interpersonal skills: Team player, organized, self-starter, adaptable to change, results-oriented, and able to work with limited supervision.
  • Previous experience in a heavy industrial, fast-paced environment (preferred).
