Job Location: Portland, OR

Starting Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

$500 Sign-On Bonus + $1.50 shift differential

Available Shifts and Hours:

• 5am-4pm
• 2:30pm-2am

Job Responsibilities:

• Receive and print packing orders from computer, ensuring correct materials are available.
• Cut wood for packing or banding as needed.
• Assist in lifting metal from racks to packing carts and hand pack bundles per customer specifications.
• Maintain identification for racks and bundles.
• Load metal onto conveyor for auto wrapping.
• Inspect ends, length, and material quality before packing.
• Record packed items on Oracle job and Suffix letter.
• Ensure finished materials are properly packaged and marked.
• Report potential packing issues to Lead Person.

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Ability to follow directions accurately.
• Ability to read a tape measure precisely.
• Excellent punctuality and attendance.
• Team-oriented, organized, self-starter, adaptable, results-driven, and able to work independently.
• Experience in a heavy industrial, fast-paced environment preferred.
