Techo‑Bloc is hiring a General Laborer in Waterloo, IN, to support production and ensure high-quality standards. Responsibilities include quality checks, packaging, and maintaining a clean work area.

Pay: $24.25/hr ($19.25/hr base + $5 per hour shift differential for night shift)

Location: Waterloo, IN

Schedule: Night shift, Mon‑Thur 6pm‑6am

What You’ll Do

As a General Laborer, you’ll support daily production and help ensure every product meets Techo‑Bloc’s high quality standards. You’ll work alongside machine operators and assist with key processes such as:

• Inspect finished product for height, shape, color, and consistency
• Perform quality checks and remove defective pieces as needed
• Rework/replace blocks to ensure every pallet is customer‑ready
• Package finished product by adding:
  • packaging materials
  • top sheet
  • labels
  • final quality check before going to the yard
• Keep all products packaged neatly, safely, and securely
• Assist with production support tasks such as:
  • pallet repair
  • general maintenance support
  • yard support
  • other assigned tasks to keep production moving
• Maintain a clean work area and support plant clean‑up
• Follow all safety practices including PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures

Qualifications

• Basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide)
• Strong attention to detail and good common sense
• Able to multitask and problem‑solve on the floor
• Comfortable operating basic machinery/support equipment (training provided)

Preferred

• High School Diploma or GED
• 1+ year manufacturing experience
