We are currently seeking a skilled General Laborer to join our growing construction company. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, willingness to travel, and dependability are essential.

Note: Our office is located in Kearney, NE.

Job Details

1. Hourly wage: $22-$24 depending on experience
2. 50+ hours per week (no weekend work)
3. Most projects require being out of town Monday-Friday; home on weekends
4. Transportation provided from Kearney, NE for out-of-town work
5. Paid travel time
6. Hotel paid by the company
7. Nightly per diem for meals when working more than sixty miles outside Kearney, NE
8. Year-round employment (no winter layoffs)

Requirements

• Perform manual labor outdoors in various weather and environmental conditions
• Work in a fast-paced environment
• Work within confined spaces such as manholes
• Remain focused in high traffic areas
• Verify measurements for accuracy
• Read and interpret machine gauges
• Mechanically inclined with routine maintenance skills
• Perform manual tasks with minimal supervision
• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually or as a team
• Stand and walk for long periods
• Stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl daily
• Operate heavy equipment as trained
• Follow all safety rules; safety training provided
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record preferred
• Pass pre-employment drug screening
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
