Job summary

O6 Environmental is seeking motivated Environmental Field Technicians to support a long-term remediation project in the Beaumont, TX area. This role involves field labor, assisting crews with environmental cleanup and construction activities, and working outdoors in various weather conditions.

You will operate light-to-medium equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, forklifts, and pressure washers, load and unload materials, and follow all safety and environmental protocols; background

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification preferred, training can be provided.
• Six months of construction or general labor experience preferred.
• Outdoor work in varied weather conditions.
• Must pass background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform general site labor and assist crews with environmental cleanup and construction activities.
• Operate light-to-medium equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, forklifts, and pressure washers.
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all site-specific safety and environmental protocols.
• Ability to operate light/heavy equipment (preferred but not required).
• Wear required PPE and work in teams under site leadership.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general site labor and assist crews with environmental cleanup and construction activities
• Operate light-to-medium equipment such as skid steers, mini excavators, forklifts, and pressure washers
• Load and unload materials, tools, and equipment
• Follow all site-specific safety and environmental protocols
• Ability to operate light/heavy equipment (preferred but not required)
• Willingness to follow safety protocols and wear required PPE
• Ability to work in teams and take direction from site leadership
• Capable of working in physically demanding environments in all weather conditions

Qualifications:

• 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification (preferred, but training can be provided)
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Six (6) months of construction or general labor experience preferred
• Work is performed outdoors in varied weather conditions
• Work may involve confined spaces, elevated work areas, and physical labor such as lifting, bending, and carrying
