Job summary

O6 Environmental is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator for a full-time traveling role. You will perform inspections, operate excavators and skid steers, and support site cleanup projects across assignments.

Candidates should have 3+ years of heavy equipment experience, OSHA 40hr HAZWOPER certification or willing to obtain, and ability to work in all weather conditions and confined spaces.

Qualifications

• 3+ years demonstrated ability to operate various types of heavy equipment including excavators and skid steers preferred.
• Underground tank removal and remediation experience preferred.
• Performs labor intensive activities in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Adhere and follow safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear
• Operate routinely used hand tools and equipment
• Perform general construction labor including site preparation, material handling, demolition support, and cleanup
• Load and unload equipment from vehicles, and trailers
• Complete required paperwork, forms and records as required

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. This is a full- time traveling position.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment
• Adhere and follow safety rules, regulations, guidelines, policies, and site-specific safety plans when performing cleanup activities and donning protective gear
• Operate routinely used hand tools and equipment

Qualifications
