Job summary

American Iron & Metal (AIM) is seeking a General Laborer to support our Erie operations. You will be responsible for the general sorting of metals on site, handling non-ferrous metals such as aluminum, copper and brass, and operating basic processing equipment.

This role requires physical stamina, the ability to work indoors or outdoors in all weather, and a commitment to safety. Prior recycling experience is a plus, and familiarity with OSHA regulations is valued.

Qualifications

• Aptitude for understanding and using machines and tools.
• Excellent customer service.
• Experience in metal recycling is an asset.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Good physical fitness.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must stand, reach, walk, stoop and crawl.
• Team player.
• Familiar with OSHA regulations.
• Excellent attendance and safety record.
