Job summary

CoVolt Power is seeking a field-based, hands-on worker to contribute to the construction of a solar field. The role supports the mechanical scope and requires outdoor work in varied and extreme weather. You will assist with multiple field tasks, perform QA/QC and support tracker and module staging, joining a team focused on safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50+ pounds.
• Ability to perform repetitive actions and stand/walk for long periods.
• Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Experience on construction projects is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with field tasks in solar construction.
• Support with string line, laser, pile shakeout/remediation, tracker shakeout, QA/QC tasks.
• Perform module staging, SPC control, and related duties as directed.

Assists with the following:

• String Line
• Laser
• Pile Shakeout
• Pile Remediation
• Tracker Shakeout
• Huck & BOM
• MIB
• Damper
• Module Staging
• Tracker QA/QC
• Module QA/QC
• SPC Controller

Skills/Abilities:

• Able to lift 50+pounds
• Able to conduct repetitive actions, such as stooping, bending, pushing, pulling, and reaching
• Able to stand or walk for extended periods of time
• Able to follow precise instruction and receive feedback
• Strong teamwork skills and ability to work well with others, including colleagues and supervisors
• Experience working on construction projects preferred
• This position requires working outdoors in various, often extreme weather conditions including rain, snow, heat, cold, etc.
• Candidates must be able to work in all weather conditions, as safety permits.
• This position may also include exposure to loud noises, dust, debris, and other construction-related hazards.

Education:
