Job summary

BRANDENBURG INDUSTRIAL SVC CO is seeking a General Laborer to support demolition, construction, and material handling across multiple states. The role requires the ability to work with power tools, follow safety protocols, and perform strenuous tasks in PPE as weather and site conditions demand.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Use power tools including oxy-fuel torch, breaker, drill and demolition saw
• Understand hygiene principles including lead, asbestos and silica prevention
• Segment various material types
• Move materials by carrying, shoveling, pushing or throwing
• Perform safety-sensitive tasks
• Work with hazardous materials
• Work productively in various weather conditions
• Operate in full personal protective equipment for long periods
• Walk and work on uneven surfaces, including stairs and ladders
• Follow Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Maintain regular and predictable performance

Travel: Up to 98%

Salary: Hourly Rate $23.75 - $36.09, Health & Fringe benefits per Collective Bargaining Agreement

System requires web browser Internet Explorer 10 or higher, Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox.

Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements:

• Ability to use power tools including oxy-fuel torch, breaker, drill & demolition saw
• Ability to understand hygiene principles including lead intoxication, asbestosis & silicosis prevention
• Ability to segregate various types of material
• Ability to move materials by carrying, shoveling, pushing or throwing
• Perform safety sensitive tasks
• Ability to work with hazardous materials
• Ability to work productively in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform strenuous work in full body personal protective equipment throughout work shift
• Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces, occasionally climbing stairs and ladders
• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Regular and Predictable Performance

Education / Experience:

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1 Year experience of field based work. Experience in Construction / Demolition industry preferred. Candidates must also have the ability to complete assigned tasks, work independently to attain deadlines and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
