Job summary

Brandenburg Industrial Svc Co is seeking a General Laborer to support construction and demolition tasks across multiple states. The role requires handling power tools, moving materials, and adhering to strict safety and hygiene protocols.

The position involves up to 98% travel, full-time hours, and a hourly wage range of approximately $23.75 to $36.09 with benefits as per the collective bargaining agreement.

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of field experience.
• Experience in Construction/Demolition preferred.
• Must be able to complete tasks independently and meet deadlines; strong verbal/written communication.
• Safety minded with ability to follow hygiene, lead exposure, asbestos and silica prevention practices.

Responsibilities

• Operate power tools including oxy-fuel torch, breaker, drill and demolition saw.
• Segregate various types of material.
• Move materials by carrying, shoveling, pushing, or throwing.
• Perform safety sensitive tasks.
• Work with hazardous materials.
• Work productively in various weather conditions.
• Perform strenuous work in full body PPE throughout shift.
• Walk and climb stairs and ladders as needed.
• Comply with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies.
• Demonstrate regular and predictable performance.

Duties/Responsibilities/Physical Requirements:

• Ability to use power tools including oxy-fuel torch, breaker, drill & demolition saw
• Ability to understand hygiene principles including lead intoxication, asbestosis & silicosis prevention
• Ability to segregate various types of material
• Ability to move materials by carrying, shoveling, pushing or throwing
• Perform safety sensitive tasks
• Ability to work with hazardous materials
• Ability to work productively in various weather conditions
• Ability to perform strenuous work in full body personal protective equipment throughout work shift
• Agility to walk and work on uneven surfaces, occasionally climbing stairs and ladders
• Perform all work in accordance with Brandenburg's environmental and safety policies
• Regular and Predictable Performance

Education / Experience:

Candidates must have a HS diploma or equivalent; 1 Year experience of field based work. Experience in Construction / Demolition industry preferred. Candidates must also have the ability to complete assigned tasks, work independently to attain deadlines and possess strong verbal and written communication skills.
