Job description

Pries is looking for a General Labor Packer to join our team!

No previous experience needed!

We have 2 shifts available: This is a 2:2:3 schedule format. You will work 2 days on, 2 days off, and then every other weekend.

• 6am-6pm
• 6pm-6am

Duties include:

• Receive instructions and work orders from machine operators or Team Leaders.
• Plan work procedures and gather tools and materials required (e.g., paper, wood, racks, spacers, clamps).
• Lift 50-75 lbs repeatedly with a partner and operate an overhead crane.
• Examine products for defects such as scratches, bent material, bowing, dents, and flatness.
• Report defects to the Team Leader.
• Pack and stack products according to production specifications, pack codes, and notes to prevent damage and meet customer requirements. Report discrepancies to machine operators or Team Leaders.
• Hand stamp or stencil identifying information on cartons or shipping containers as needed.
• Follow all safety policies and procedures; report unsafe activities to supervisors or safety personnel.
• Maintain consistent and reliable attendance.
• Keep work areas clean and organized.
