Responsibilities & Requirements

• This position is located within a poultry processing facility and requires the successful candidate to work with and around heavy machinery and sharp objects (including knives) in a damp or wet environment.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
• Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on night (3rd) shift.
• Applicants will be considered for openings in any department that may include, but are not limited debone or packing.
• Position may require you to work in temperatures as hot as 90 degrees and as cold as 48 degrees.
• Standing for 8 to 10 hours per day is required; a typical day also includes repetitious walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift 40 pounds at any given time.
• Must be willing to perform some jobs at elevated heights.
• Must be willing to work weekends and overtime if scheduled.
• Must be willing to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
