Responsibilities

• Inspect products and equipment and report concerns to line leadership.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete quality checks.
• Support continuous improvement through problem-solving and operational excellence activities.
• Maintain GMP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

About The Role

We are seeking a General Labor, Bakery- Production to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As a General Labor, Bakery- Production, you will be accountable for supporting bakery production operations by ensuring dough and baked products are shaped, scored, monitored, and processed according to product specifications. This role plays a key part in maintaining product quality, food safety, production efficiency, and sanitation standards throughout the manufacturing process.

Shift & Schedule

• Shift: 3rd
• Schedule: 10 pm- 6:30 am
• Weekend availability: Required

Compensation

Hourly pay rate: $18

Core Accountabilities (What You’ll Be Doing)

• Monitor product flow and processing to ensure products meet quality and specification requirements.
• Operate and support bakery production systems, including proofing, scoring, oven, cooling, and packing processes.
• Verify production parameters, recipes, and product standards throughout the manufacturing cycle.
• Inspect products and production equipment to identify issues and communicate concerns to line leadership.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required quality checks.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives through participation in problem-solving and operational excellence activities.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.

Minimum Qualifications (What You Bring To The Table)

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Demonstrated problem-solving and reasoning abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to accurately complete production and quality documentation.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work safely around moving production equipment.

Preferred Qualifications (Extra Ingredients For Success)

• Prior experience in a fast-paced production, manufacturing, bakery, or packaging environment.
• Experience working within food manufacturing or GMP-regulated environments.
• Familiarity with quality inspections and product specification monitoring.
• Experience operating or working around automated production equipment.
• Understanding of continuous improvement concepts and problem-solving methodologies.
