Job summary

Green Bay Packaging Inc. in Green Bay, WI, is seeking a General Laborer to support production by performing stacking, feeding, and assembly tasks. The role includes assisting machine operators, reporting time and production, and covering for absences as needed.

Training is provided, with direct supervision available. Candidates must be 18+, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to lift 20–50 lbs and stand 8–10 hours per shift; overtime is required.

Qualifications

• No previous plant experience required.
• Typically less than one month to become fully competent on the job.
• Must be able to correctly interpret shop orders.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and pre-employment physical.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must be able to lift 20 pounds repetitively and up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours per shift.
• Overtime is mandatory.

• Perform general duties such as: Catching from machines; Acting as an extra feeder on machines; Miscellaneous banding; Sweeping and cleaning up machines; Working in assembly department; Wrapping pallets
• Fill in on any production machines and assembly department for employees who are on vacation, sick, or otherwise absent
• Accurately report time and production on required sheets
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor
